Description:

Calling all Girl Scouts in 7th-12th grades:  You won't want to miss this free opportunity hosted by Connect Arkansas.Org, a project of The Arkansas Capital Corporation Group!  From the "pros", you will learn the basics of entrepreneurship and e-commerce and how they play into building a successful business.  In teams, you will create a live website showcasing what you've learned.  And did we mention, "free"?  This workshop, including lunch (for girls) is being sponsored entirely by Connect Arkansas.Org through funding from the Women's Foundation of Arkansas.

At the request of Connect Arkansas.Org, this workshop is open to registered Girl Scouts in 7th-12th grades only.  We ask our members to be "on your honor" to abide by this request.

Level: 7th - 12th Grade Girl Scouts only

Date: Saturday, January 25, 2014

Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Location: University of AR Campus, 304 JBHT, Fayetteville

Fee: FREE* to registered members of the Diamonds Council (*PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

Registration deadline: Wednesday, January 15, 2014

Maximum: 25 girls 

Special Notes:

1)  This workshop will be facilitated entirely by Connect Arkansas.Org staff and volunteers.  There will be no Diamonds Council staff present at this workshop.

2)  This workshop is open to registered Girl Scouts in grades 7 - 12 only.  Adults will not participate

3)  Lunch will be provided for participants (girls only)

4)  Due to space limitations, adults accompanying girls should be kept to a minimum.
