Would you like to take on a new leadership role in Girl Scouts and work with groups of younger girls? Then becoming a Program Aide is what you need to do! This training is designed to help Cadette GS (6-8 grades) develop their leadership skills by sharing their knowledge and talents with younger girls.As a pre-requisite for taking this course, girls must have completed at least one Leader in Action (LiA) Award from the Cadette Girls Guide to Girl Scouting and submit the required Diamonds LiA Report Form found on the council website.

Dates: Part #1: Saturday, February 2, 2013
Part #2: Saturday, February 9, 2013
Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (both days)
Location: Camp Taloha, Pine Bluff
Fee: $25 per girl
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, January 16, 2013
Minimum/Maximum: 10/30
Service Project: Girls will design their own service project at the event to be implemented within 1 month of returning home
Special Notes:
1) As a pre-requisite to taking this course, girls must have completed at least one Leader in Action (LiA) Award from the Cadette Girls Guide to Girl Scouting and submit the required LiA Report Form found on the council website.
2) Girls that complete this training may work toward earning their Program Aid (PA) pin.
3) Girls should bring their own level-specific Girls Guide
4) Bring your own lunch.
